Flying into London and making your way to Bob W Earl's Court – Philbeach Gardens? Welcome! London has several airports, so here’s a guide on how to get to us.
A Tip Before You Start
Public transport in London can have delays or changes. We highly recommend using an app like CityMapper for the most accurate, real-time routes and timings on the day you travel.
From Heathrow Airport (LHR) ✈️
Option 1 (Train & Tube): Take the Heathrow Express train to London Paddington Station (approx. 21 mins). At Paddington, walk to the other side of the station to catch the westbound District line (green) from platform 1. Travel 4 stops to Earl's Court (approx. 8 mins). From there, it's a 7-minute walk.
Option 2 (Bus): This option avoids central London. From Hatton Cross Station (accessible from Heathrow), take a local bus to Heathrow Central Bus Station. From there, take a National Express coach (e.g., line 025 or 504) to the West Cromwell Road Tesco stop. It's an 8-minute walk from there.
From Gatwick Airport (LGW) ✈️
Take a Southern train towards London Victoria and get off at Clapham Junction (2 stops, approx. 26 mins). At Clapham Junction, change to the London Overground (usually platform 1) and travel 2 stops to West Brompton. From there, it's a 9-minute walk.
From Stansted Airport (STN) ✈️
Take the Stansted Express train and get off at Tottenham Hale. Change to the London Underground and take the southbound Victoria line to Victoria Station. From there, take the westbound District line to Earl's Court. It's a 7-minute walk from the station.
Backup Option: If there are no trains, you can book a National Express bus to Stratford. From Stratford, take the Elizabeth line to Paddington, then the District line to Earl's Court.
From Luton Airport (LTN) ✈️
From Luton Airport Parkway station, take a Thameslink train and get off at City Thameslink station (approx. 42 mins). It's a short 3-minute walk to Blackfriars station. From Blackfriars, take the westbound District line to Earl's Court. It's a 7-minute walk from there.
From London City Airport (LCY) ✈️
Option 1: Take the DLR to West Ham. Change to the westbound District line and get off at Earl's Court. From there, it's a 7-minute walk.
Option 2: Take the DLR to Canning Town. Change to the westbound Jubilee line to Green Park. From there, change to the westbound Piccadilly line to Earl's Court. It's a 7-minute walk.

Bob's Tips for Parking in London 💡
ULEZ is London-Wide! The Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) covers ALL London boroughs. This means most vehicles need to meet specific emission standards to avoid a daily charge. Check your vehicle's status on the Transport for London (TfL) website before you travel. This applies 24/7.
Congestion Charge Zone (CCZ): Earl's Court is OUTSIDE the central Congestion Charge Zone. However, if your travel plans involve driving into more central areas of London, you might enter the CCZ, so always check your route.
Tube & Bus It? Earl's Court has its own Tube station (District and Piccadilly Lines), offering fantastic connections across London, including a direct line to Heathrow Airport. It's often the easiest and quickest way to explore the city once you've settled in.
Still got questions or need a bit more guidance on parking your motor? Just give us a shout. We're always happy to help!
Step 1: Complete Your Online Check-In
Head to our secure check-in portal here: https://reception.bobw.co/check-in
You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.
Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:
“Booking/confirmation number”
“Booking ID”
“Reservation number”
Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉
Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!
Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.
If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!
Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.
We always send your check-in info by email—and often via SMS or WhatsApp too. Still nothing? Just reach out and we’ll sort it 👍
Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.
No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.
No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!
Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.
No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.
Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.
Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.
You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.

Across Europe, the economics underpinning the traditional mid-market hotel sector are creaking and groaning louder than ever.

Helsinki just got a new design icon above the rooftops. At the very top of Bob W Helsinki Kamppi, we’ve teamed up with Iittala — Finland’s most legendary design brand — to create the Sauna Lounge by Iittala & Bob W.

Bob has just opened 54 apartments on Kammakargatan, inside a 1965 brutalist landmark that’s been reborn through a design collaboration with Note Design Studio.

Recently, it feels like I haven’t woken up to the same view twice. There was the new opening in Helsinki, then all the furniture to unpack in Stockholm. Still, I found time to check out how the refurb of my place is going down in Milan. I was ready for some heat.

At Bob W, we're always on the lookout for the right people to help us grow smarter and faster. That’s why we’re excited to announce two new appointments that will boost our presence in Southern Europe as we continue to redefine hospitality across the continent.

St Paul’s isn’t just about its world-famous dome (though, Sir Christopher Wren’s masterpiece is unmissable). This is London at its most atmospheric: winding lanes where Dickens and Pepys once strolled, cosy old pubs tucked between offices, and literary history baked into the cobblestones.
.webp?language=en)
Right in the heart of some of London’s most historic landmarks — and modern offices. Tower Hill sits right where London’s past and present collide. Join workers in the local pubs for a post-shift drink and chilled chatter. Close to the Tower of London, the Roman-built London Wall, and the Thames.

The City of London isn’t just any neighbourhood, it’s where the capital began. Here, medieval towers, Roman walls, and centuries-old guildhalls stand shoulder-to-shoulder with glass skyscrapers and buzzing cafés. It’s a place where history isn’t behind glass; it’s woven into the streets you’ll walk every day.

Like walking straight into a scene from Love Actually or Notting Hill, Holland Park is as quintessentially British as it gets. Think sweeping tree-lined avenues, pastel mews, and Victorian mansions that whisper stories of rockstars and royalty. (Yes, Freddie Mercury once called this street home.)

Spitalfields has always been where London’s edges blur. It's the multicultural heart of the East End, sitting right next to the glass towers of the City. Step outside and you’ve got Spitalfields Market on one side and Brick Lane’s curry houses, vintage shops, and street art on the other.

Sash windows, Victorian terraces, and leafy garden squares — Earl’s Court is classic London. But it’s also brilliantly connected and buzzing with things to do. Step out and you’ll find Kensington’s world-class museums, the historic Brompton Cemetery, and the sprawling Hyde Park all within easy reach.
