Welcome to Bob W Helsinki Kamppi — a 1970s office block reborn with a serious style upgrade. Bob's teamed up with Finnish design icons KOKO3 to turn this retro structure into a modern-day masterpiece. Think walnut finishes, shaggy carpets, and surreal digital artwork. Bob kept the raw concrete ceilings and let Finnish craftsmanship do the rest.

Inside, you’ll spot pine furniture by Vaarnii, ceramics by Tero Kuitunen, and plenty of playful touches — from the striped Matri headboards to the misty Iittala vases in the rooftop sauna lounge. Every detail tells a story. A very local one.

Most pet stays require a one-time fee when booking. There's no charge for service animals.

We allow one large pet (up to 45kg) or two small pets (up to 23kg each) per apartment.

Add optional breakfast to your booking for an extra fee. You’ll get a traditional breakfast at Lazy Fox {https://lazyfox.fi/} or Green Hippo Cafe {https://www.greenhippocafe.rocks/} . It's neighbourhood approved, you'll find the locals here. A great, easy option especially when you’re still settling in on the first morning.

By Train & Tram 🚆
This is an easy and efficient way to get from the airport to the city.

Step 1 (Train to the City): From the airport's train station, you can take either the I train or the P train. Both will take you directly to Helsinki Central Railway Station (Helsingin päärautatieasema).

Step 2 (Tram to Bob W): From the Central Railway Station area, take tram number 6T to get to Bob W Kamppi. Check your map app for the closest tram stop to our building.

Tickets & Info: You can buy your ticket from the HSL app or from ticket machines at the airport station. This ticket is usually valid for the train and your connecting tram ride. For schedules and more details, check the official HSL website: hsl.fi.

By Taxi or Ride-hailing
For the most direct route, you can take a taxi from the official ranks at the airport or use a ride-hailing app. Recommended services in Helsinki include:

Finding the Entrance
Look for the building at number 20 on Lönnrotinkatu street. The main entrance is clearly visible from the street. Your door code from the Guest Area will get you in.

At Bob W Helsinki Kamppi, we have luggage rooms available for you on both the 1st floor (ground floor) and the 2nd floor.


On the ground floor, you'll find it in the hallway on the left side, near the elevator. The doors are marked "luggage". The rooms are available for you to use:

On the day of check-in from 5:00 AM

On the day of check-out until 11:00 PM


How to access it
Open your Guest Area (check your email for the check-in link).

Tap “Open Doors.”

Scroll to find the “Luggage Room” key.

This is the same as your room code.

Enter the code on the pinpad.

Driving to Bob W Helsinki Kamppi? There's a convenient public parking garage located right in our building, operated by Europark.


Finding the Garage & Parking
The parking garage, P-Lönnrotinkatu 20, is operated by Europark and is located in the same building as Bob W.

Entrance: You'll find the entrance to the garage on the left-hand side just after the Lidl supermarket.

Parking Spots: You can park in the available spots either in the inner courtyard or in the garage downstairs.

Pricing & Payment (App-Based)
Pricing (approx.): The rates are typically €3.50 per hour, with a maximum charge of €21 for 24 hours. (Rates are set by the operator and are subject to change).

How to Pay: Payment for this garage is handled entirely through mobile apps. You can use one of the following:

In your chosen app, just enter your car's license plate number, and the system will show you the amount due for your parking session.

Important Payment Rule: You must complete the payment in the app within 48 hours of your parking session ending. If payment is not made within this timeframe, Europark will send an invoice with an additional €5 charge.

Step 1: Complete Your Online Check-In

You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.



Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉



Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!



Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!



Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

We always send your check-in info by email—and often via SMS or WhatsApp too. Still nothing? Just reach out and we’ll sort it 👍

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
