Interior Design Highlights
Located in the centre of Tartu’s old town, Bob W Duo Lofts’ design concept is inspired by the building’s modern architecture. It features beautiful common areas where guests can relax – you’ll have access to a bookable on-site cinema, meeting room, and well-equipped gym, and there’s even a café in the lobby where you can grab a cup of coffee. And don’t forget to pay a visit to the rooftop terrace!
Originally built in 1937, the structure is a former public telephone and telegram centre where residents of Tartu could keep in touch with the rest of the world. It has since been fully renovated to return this historic building to its former glory and provide travellers with a luxurious but authentic place to stay.

We’ve partnered with one of our favourite designers in Estonia, Gerdi Arst. She’s an expert in all things real estate and usually specialises in staging homes ready for sale. She’s now played an essential role in making our Duo Lofts apartments look as inviting and homely as possible.

Premium Beds for a Great Night’s Sleep
Sleep easy at Bob W Duo Lofts on our specially selected beds. The beds are made in Viljandi, Estonia, by the environmentally conscious company ParagonSleep. The company uses only FSC-certified wood and is also certified by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Any textiles they produce are OEKO-TEX® 100 Standard, and all synthetic fibres are certified by the Global Recycle Standard.
Sumptuous Sofa Beds
Our super-comfortable sofa beds come from Ermatiko, a family-run business founded in Estonia in 1993. The company produces durable sofas that are built to last. They source their raw materials from a responsibly managed forest and use a combination of solid wood and plywood to create a high-quality end product.

Conversation-Starting Art
Bob W strives to reuse materials wherever possible, so we were thrilled to partner with Avola Art to decorate our Duo Lofts apartments. They use construction waste from real-estate projects to produce hand-crafted and interesting 3D pieces, the perfect addition to your home-away-from-home.
Coffee Cups Inspired by Nature
Even the coffee cups at Bob W Duo Lofts are something to be proud of. Sip your morning brew from a handmade porcelain mug produced by the Tallinn-based artist Raili Keiv. Her designs are inspired by Estonian nature – they’re simple but striking.
