Bob W is a tech-driven hospitality provider offering a smarter alternative to hotels and short-stay rentals. Backed by top real estate investors and venture capitalists, we currently operate in Finland and Estonia with plans to expand to the UK and within Europe. Our Chueca property mark our debut in Spain.
The spirited Chueca district
Aside from sustainability and local design, a prime location in a cool area is something you can expect whenever you sleep with Bob, no matter the city. Chueca was an obvious choice for Bob W in Madrid, being extremely central, home to one of Europe’s biggest pride parades, and an overall hip place to be year-round.
Chueca is situated in the larger Malasaña neighbourhood, just north of the Gran Via thoroughfare. The area is home to plenty of small shops, restaurants, cafes, and everyday amenities in addition to a vibrant nightlife. Malasaña’s famous ‘La Movida Madrileña’ social and art movement is the main source of inspiration for our interior concept for the property.
Unique commercial property on Calle Fuencarral
Our real estate team is constantly seeking properties in handpicked European neighbourhoods and are thrilled to have secured a significant portion of the building at Calle Fuencarral 45 featuring studios and one-bedroom options. This is a unique site as it is a modern commercial building in a residential setting on a narrow pedestrianised street that intersects Gran Via.

Madrid’s biggest attractions are, however, not far; Gran Via is less than five minutes away by foot, Puerta del Sol only eight, and Plaza Mayor fifteen. Bob W was advised and supported by Harper Dennis Hobbs’ international team.
