We allow one large pet (up to 45kg) or two small pets (up to 23kg each) per apartment.

Add optional breakfast to your booking for an extra fee. You’ll get a traditional breakfast at Saiapalee Tüümian or Cafe-restaurant Werner. It's neighbourhood approved, you'll find the locals here. A great, easy option especially when you’re still settling in on the first morning.

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

Making your way to Bob W Tartu Old Town? Welcome! Most of our international guests arrive via Tallinn Airport (TLL). Here’s the best way to get from Tallinn to us in Tartu.

Getting from Tallinn Airport (TLL) to Tartu 🚌
The most convenient way to travel between Tallinn Airport and Tartu is by a direct intercity bus.

We recommend using Lux Express. Their comfortable buses stop directly at the Tallinn Airport ('Tallinna lennujaam') on their way to Tartu. You can book your tickets in advance on their website: luxexpress.eu. The journey takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours.

From Tartu Bus Station to Bob W Tartu Old Town
Once your Lux Express bus arrives at the Tartu bus station, you're very close! You have two easy options for the final leg of your journey:

On Foot Enjoy a pleasant 17-minute walk through the city to get to us. Just pop our address into your map app for the scenic route.

Look for the building at number 29 on Lai street. The main entrance is clearly visible from the street. Your door code from the Guest Area will get you in.

We’ll be real with you — there’s no luggage room at Bob W Tartu Old Town. But don’t worry, Bob’s still got some solid options to keep your hands free while you explore.

Where can I park my car?

While Bob W Tartu Old Town does not have guest parking spots, no sweat! You've got options right out front or on the nearby streets, plus some tips for cheaper spots.

Street Parking Right Around Bob W Tartu Old Town (Zone A15)
Where: You can often find spots on Lai Street (there's a parking meter right in front of the building) or Jaani Street. These are part of Tartu's Zone A15.

Understanding Tartu's Parking Zones 💡
Tartu has a few parking zones, which is good to know:
Zone A: €3 per hour (like the streets around us). First 15 mins free if you mark your start time.
Zone B: €1.50 per hour. First 90 mins free if you mark your start time.
Zone C: €0.20 per hour. First 15 mins free if you mark your start time.

How to Pay for Parking
Mobile Apps (Easiest):
Tartu city recommends: Pargi.ee, Flowbird, Autlo, Snabb.
There's also Parkimine.ee (mainly for Tartu parking info – double-check its Zone A payment options).
Just download your chosen app, select your zone, vehicle details, and you're golden!

SMS to 1902 (Old School):
Text your vehicle number, parking zone, and any free minutes you're claiming.
Example for 15 free mins in Zone A: 123ABC A 15
Example for Zone A if free time is up/not used: 123ABC A
To End Parking: Call 1903.
Heads up: SMS parking often ends automatically after 4 hours. If you need more time, just send a new text to start a new session.

Fortuuna tänav 3a
Väike-Turu tänav 6 (Coordinates: 58.377636, 26.734731) – Watch out! One side is for buses, the other for cars.
Vaksali tänav 12b – 24h free parking, but you must get a ticket from the ticket machine and display it.

How to check-in?

Step 1: Complete Your Online Check-In
Head to our secure check-in portal here: https://reception.bobw.co/check-in

You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.

Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”
“Booking ID”
“Reservation number”
Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉

Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!

Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!

Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

Whilst Staying

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!
‍
Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.
‍
No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
