Original Studio - Lower Ground

No awkward hallway dashes or shared facilities here. This room comes with its own en-suite shower — just you, good water pressure, and all the privacy you need to rinse off the day (or wake up properly). We’ve even stocked it with Bob’s favourite 19-69 Capri products, so you can lather up in luxury.

Feel right at home with a full kitchen. You’ll find everything you need to fine dine, right in your own studio. Bob’s kitchens are equipped with a fridge, combi-oven, microwave, fridge, sink & dishwasher. All the trimmings included, no need to pack your own frying pan. 

Spaces are designed for real, everyday use rather than staged moments. The layouts support multiple modes—arrival, working, reading, socialising, or retreating—allowing guests to inhabit the spaces naturally and at their own rhythm throughout the day.

The colour palette is inspired by the nearby Art Nouveau villas, embracing richness, warmth, and depth rather than restraint. Colour is used as an atmospheric tool—layered, emotive, and spatially defining—supported by tactile materials and crafted details that create comfort, visual interest, and a sense of character.

Local context informs the design without literal reproduction. Jugendstil influences, vineyard culture, and neighbourhood identity are abstracted into form, proportion, materiality, and spatial transitions—creating a recognisable sense of place that feels contemporary, authentic, and enduring.

Most pet stays require a one-time fee when booking. There's no charge for service animals.

We allow one large pet (up to 45kg) or two small pets (up to 23kg each) per apartment.

Guests are able to store store their luggage:

On the day of check-in from 5:00 AM

On the day of check-out until 11:00 PM

Don't forget to add early check-in and late check-out to your booking through your guest area or during booking to spend that little bit extra exploring the neighbourhood.

Flying into Vienna and making your way to Bob W Vienna Döbling? Welcome! Vienna has one international airport, so here’s a guide on how to get to us. 

From Vienna International Airport (VIE) ✈️

The journey from Vienna airport is a two-step process: first to Wien Morzinplatz, and then a quick metro ride to us.

Step 1: Get to Wien Morzinplatz:

Head to the Flughafen Wien Busterminal at terminal 3, then get on the VAB2 non-stop bus service, it takes about 20 minutes.

Step 2: From Milano Centrale to Bob W From Milano Centrale, it's a quick metro ride:

Walk 2 minutes to Schwedenplatz and take the Metro Green Line (U4) platform 2 towards Hütteldorf.

Travel 4 stops (about 6 minutes) and get off at Spittelau station.

From Spittelau, it's about a 7-minute walk (500 metres) to our building.

By Taxi: Taxis are always available at the airport for a direct, but more expensive, journey.

Taxis are also readily available at the airport.

You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.


Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉

Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!

Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!

Finding the Entrance

Look for the building at number 40 on Heiligenstaedter Strasse. The main entrance is clearly visible from the street. Your door code, found in your Guest Area, will get you inside.

Heiligenstädter Str. 46-48, 1190 Wien  (Approx. 2-min walk)

Once you see a green light and hear a click, push the door open and you’re in.

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
