Most pet stays require a one-time fee when booking. There's no charge for service animals.

We allow one large pet (up to 45kg) or two small pets (up to 23kg each) per apartment.

Add optional breakfast to your booking for an extra fee. You’ll get a traditional breakfast at Åpent Bakeri Bjørvika. It's neighbourhood approved, you'll find the locals here. A great, easy option especially when you’re still settling in on the first morning.

By Train (Fastest Option) 🚆
The Flytoget Airport Express train is the quickest way to get to the city centre.

Route & Time: The journey from Oslo Airport to Oslo Central Station (Oslo S) takes only about 19 minutes.

Schedule: Trains run as often as every 10 minutes for most of the day (the last train from the airport is usually at 00:50).

Final Step: Bob W Gamle Oslo is just a short walk from Oslo Central Station. Pop our address into your map app for the final directions.

By Shuttle Bus 🚌
The Flybussen is another great option and typically runs every hour.

Route & Time: The bus takes about 50 minutes from Oslo Airport to Oslo Bus Terminal, which is right next to the central train station.

Final Step: From the bus terminal, it's also just a short walk to our building.

By Taxi
If you want to take a taxi from the airport, we recommend using the taxi booking machine.

Location: You'll find it outside the terminal building on the ground level, in the same area as the taxi pickup point.

Benefit: Using the machine allows you to book a taxi from a reputable company and see an overview of prices before you ride.

Finding the Entrance
Our entrance is at number 16B on Grønlandsleiret street. Look for the Bob W signage. Your door code, found in your Guest Area, will get you inside.

At Bob W Gamle Oslo, the luggage room is located on the basement floor (-1 floor) and is available for you to use:

On the day of check-in from 5:00 AM

On the day of check-out until 11:00 PM

Open your Guest Area (check your email for the check-in link).

Scroll to find the “Luggage Room” key.

Check Online First: Prices and availability in Oslo parking garages can vary. Many Norwegian parking facilities use apps like EasyPark.

Oslo = Pricey Parking: Just a friendly heads-up, parking in central Oslo can be a bit on the expensive side. Planning ahead can save you some kroner!

Go Green with Public Transport! Oslo has an amazing public transport system (T-bane, trams, buses, ferries). Once your car is settled, it's super easy (and often quicker!) to explore the city like a local.

Look for "P-hus" signs: These will guide you to public parking garages.

You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.



Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉



Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!



Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!



Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

We always send your check-in info by email—and often via SMS or WhatsApp too. Still nothing? Just reach out and we’ll sort it 👍

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
