Most pet stays require a one-time fee when booking. There's no charge for service animals.

We allow one large pet (up to 45kg) or two small pets (up to 23kg each) per apartment.

There is limited onsite parking at this property.  Please make sure you book a space in advance of your arrival to avoid a longer walk to your Bob.

Add optional breakfast to your booking for an extra fee. You’ll get a Cafe & Bäckerei Mauerer. It's neighbourhood approved, you'll find the locals here. A great, easy option especially when you’re still settling in on the first morning.

By Train 🚆

This is a very efficient and direct way to get from the airport to Munich City Centre.

Route: From the airport's train station, you can take either the S1 S-Bahn (direction Leuchtenbergring) or the S8 S-Bahn (direction Ostbahnhof or Herrsching). Both will take you to the city centre.

Get Off At: Your destination is Munich Central Station, it is 14 stops. The journey takes about 40 minutes.

Final Step: From Munich Central station, it's just a quick 4-minute walk to Bob W Munich City Centre. Just pop our address (Schwanthalerstraße 61) into your map app.

By Taxi

For a direct ride, you can find taxis waiting at the official taxi stands located just outside Terminals 1 and 2 at the airport.

Finding the Entrance
Look for the building at number 61on Schwanthalerstraße. The main entrance is clearly visible. Once inside, you'll find our self-service check-in kiosk to get your keycard.

Step 1: Complete Your Online Check-In

Head to our secure check-in portal here: https://reception.bobw.co/check-in

You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.

Find your booking number

You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉

Get your door code

Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!

Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?

Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!

Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

There's parking available on-site at Bob W Munich City Centre. But it must be booked prior to arrival as part of your initial booking or by adding it on within your guest area

Electric Car Charging 

EV charging stations are available in many public garages (including Isarparkhaus) and at select spots in the city center.

How it Works: These are public charging points operated by various providers (e.g., Stadtwerke München, EnBW Mobility+). Access usually requires a specific provider's app or charging card. Please check the instructions on the charging station itself.

Street parking nearby

Requires a parking ticket Monday to Saturday, from 9 AM to 11 PM (09:00 - 23:00).

Often free outside these hours (including Sundays and public holidays), but always, always double-check local signs! Rules can vary.

Bob's Munich driving & parking tips

Umweltzone (Low emission zone): Munich has an "Umweltzone" covering the city centre. Your car MUST display a green emissions sticker (Umweltplakette) to enter – this applies to foreign vehicles too! You can get these online in advance or at TÜV/DEKRA centres. Driving without one risks a €100 fine.

Diesel restrictions: Older diesel vehicles might sometimes face temporary driving restrictions based on air pollution levels. Check Munich's official city website for any current updates before your trip.

Explore smart! Munich has fantastic public transport (U-Bahn, S-Bahn, trams, buses) and is wonderful for walking and cycling. These are often the best ways to explore the city centre!

Park & Ride (P+R): Consider P+R facilities on the city outskirts for a more sustainable option, then use public transport to reach us.

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
