Helsinki-based studio, Joanna Laajisto, is the creative behind the interior. They focus on beautiful design shaped by human behaviour. For Bob’s place, they pulled inspiration from the city centre’s past, present and future.

The apartment is decked out with furniture designed and made in Finland from brands like Hakola, Artek, and custom pieces from Studio Joanna Laajisto. It’s the framework for a wonderful stay.

Sink into a soothing bed at the end of the day (or for your afternoon nap). Premium Matri beds are topped with fabric headboards featuring custom prints by local artist Pasi Kärkkäinen-Tunkelo.

This Jugendstil property goes back to 1902, when architects drew inspiration from geometric forms and natural contours. It was freshly renovated in 2021, for all the modern comforts you expect — and some you don’t.

This is an easy and efficient way to get from the airport to the city.

Route: From the airport's train station, you can take either the I train or the P train. Both will take you directly to Helsinki Central Railway Station (Helsingin päärautatieasema).

Tickets & Info: You can buy your ticket from the HSL app or from ticket machines at the airport station. For schedules and more details, check the official HSL website: hsl.fi.

Final Step: From Helsinki Central Railway Station, it's just a quick 5-minute walk to Bob W Helsinki City Centre.

Look for the building at number 18B on Vuorikatu street. The main entrance is clearly visible from the street. Your door code from the Guest Area will get you in.

Take the elevator to the 5th floor.

Luggage Room will be right next to the elevator.

Open your Guest Area (check your email for the check-in link).

Tap “Open Doors.”

Scroll to find the “Luggage Room” key.

At Bob W Helsinki City Centre, we don't have our own parking, but don't worry! There are excellent public car parks like Aimopark and Europark right in the area.

Europark P-Kluuvi

Find It: Also very central in the Kluuvi complex. Fabianinkatu 27, 00100 Helsinki, Finland

Rates (approx.): Hourly rates vary by time and day (e.g., Mon-Sat daytime around €3.70/starting 30 min; evenings/Sundays often cheaper, around €1.10/starting 60 min). The maximum fee for 24 hours is around €39.00.

Note: Prices include VAT. Parking time is generally unlimited. The disabled parking permit does not grant free parking here either.

Longer Stays? Europark P-Kluuvi often has contract options (monthly/nightly). Best to contact them directly for details if you're planning a longer visit.

Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉



Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!



Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!

Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.

No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
