City Centre, the hub of Turku

Finland’s oldest city has seen it all — medieval castles, great fires, a quirky mascot called Posankka, and now, Bob. Turku’s Aura River flows with history and culture, lined with cathedrals, castles, foodie havens, and riverboats that double as summer pubs. Set right in the heart of it all, Bob W Turku City Centre calls the historic 'Affärscentrum', aka the “Cotton Wool House”, home. Once a buzzing textile hub, now lovingly restored, it’s the ‘Queen of the Marketplace’ with serious heritage style. Step outside and you’re moments from markets, museums, and riverside rambling.

A close look inside

Our spaces are bold, warm, and full of personality — just like the neighbourhood.

What makes us different

We create spaces you’ll actually want to be in. From local touches to thoughtful details, it’s all designed around you.
Designed with SoulAccessing the PropertyLocal Partners

A Cotton Wool House classic, reimagined

Inside, we’ve channelled Turku’s dual personality: part medieval majesty, part playful modern. Expect earthy greens and browns inspired by the Aura River, accented with colour pops from the iconic Föri ferry and even Posankka (yes, the pig-duck hybrid that’s basically Turku’s spirit animal).

The interiors nod to 1920s–30s functionalism, prioritising comfort without losing character. We’ve teamed up with local artists, designers, and craftspeople from Turku’s New Design Association to infuse every space with local flair. Think handcrafted ceramics, vibrant murals, and furniture designed to feel both timeless and totally Turku.

    Contactless Entry

No more check-in queues and lost keycards. Check in online before you arrive. Access your room using your phone.

    Pets

Your furry friends are very welcome at Bob W Turku City Centre. Bob loves pets.

Most pet stays require a one-time fee when booking. There's no charge for service animals.

We allow one large pet (up to 45kg) or two small pets (up to 23kg each) per apartment.

    Breakfast, Bob-Approved

Add optional breakfast to your booking for an extra fee. You’ll get a traditional breakfast at Naantalin Aurinkoinen {http://www.aurinkoinen.fi/} or Fazer Cafe Aurakatu {https://www.fazer.fi/fazer-cafe/kahvilat/fazer-cafe-turku/}. It's neighbourhood approved, you'll find the locals here. A great, easy option especially when you’re still settling in on the first morning.

    Gym Access

Shake off the travel stiffness with our local gym partner, Fitness24Seven. Just in case exploring the neighbourhood isn't enough to tire you out.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation.
