18 January 2023 – Bob W Sentralen, in the Kvadraturen area of central Oslo, marks Bob W’s entry into the Norwegian market and Scandinavia as a whole. 

Bob W is a tech-driven hospitality provider offering a smarter alternative to hotels and short-stay rentals. We currently operate in the UK, Spain, Italy, Finland, and Estonia with plans to expand further in Europe. Bob W Sentralen opens to guests in spring 2023. 

The Kvadraturen area

A prime location in a cool area is something guests can expect whenever they sleep with us – no matter the city. This is why choosing a neighbourhood is serious business at Bob W. Kvadraturen is one of the oldest districts in Oslo, established in the 17th century by Danish-Norwegian King Christian IV according to the ideals of Renaissance city planning. Today, it is full of historic restaurants and cafes and plentiful shopping and sightseeing opportunities. 

The historical building 

The building at Kirkegata 30 dates back to 1860 and is located on a distinguished street, around the corner from Karl Johans Gate, Norway’s busiest shopping street, and just blocks from the Oslo central railway station, Oslo Cathedral and Akershus Fortress.

The 65 units are fitted with premium beds, yoga mats and local design details. They run on Bob W’s proprietary technology and sustainable principles to meet guests’ needs during short to mid-term business or leisure stays.
