No awkward hallway dashes or shared facilities here. This room comes with its own en-suite shower — just you, good water pressure, and all the privacy you need to rinse off the day (or wake up properly). We’ve even stocked it with Bob’s favourite 19-69 Capri products, so you can lather up in luxury.

All our rooms come with a Smart TV, so you can keep up with the local news or pick up exactly where you left off in your latest binge. Whether you’re casting from your phone or logging in to your go-to app, consider your cosy night in sorted.

By Train 🚆
This is a very efficient way to get from the airport right into our neighbourhood. It's a two-step journey on the S-Bahn and U-Bahn.

S-Bahn from the Airport: From the airport's train station, you can take either the S1 S-Bahn (direction Ostbahnhof) or the S8 S-Bahn (direction Leuchtenbergring). Both will take you to the city centre in about 40 minutes. Get off at the central Marienplatz station.

Change to the U-Bahn (Subway): At Marienplatz, follow the signs to the U-Bahn and take either the U3 (direction Moosach) or the U6 (direction Garching-Forschungszentrum). The ride is only about 7 minutes.

Final Stop: Get off at Giselastraße Station. This station is just a very short walk from Bob W Münchner Freiheit.

By Taxi
For a direct ride, you can find taxis waiting at the official taxi stands located just outside Terminals 1 and 2 at the airport.

Finding the Entrance
Look for the building at number 9 on Hohenzollernstraße street. The main entrance is clearly visible. Once inside, you'll find our self-service check-in kiosk to get your keycard.

At Bob W Münchner Freiheit, the luggage lockers are located on the basement floor (-1 floor) and are available for you to use:

On the day of check-in from 5:00 AM

On the day of check-out until 11:00 PM


How to access it
Open your Guest Area (check your email for the check-in link).

Find the “Building” code to enter.

Take the elevator or stairs down and follow the corridor.

At Bob W Münchner Freiheit we have our own garage, accessed via a driveway on the left side of the building, plus some nearby options!

Booking: Important! Spots are available on-site only (no pre-booking). Please check with us upon arrival for availability.

Price (incl. VAT):

Short stays: €20 per night.

Longer stays: €14 per night (for 7+ nights) or €10 per night (for 21+ nights).

EV Spots: We have 2 spots designated for electric cars.


Street Parking
Ticket Needed: Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 PM (09:00 - 23:00), you'll need a parking ticket for street parking.

Often Free: Outside these hours, including Sundays and public holidays, street parking is usually free.

Note: Always, always double-check the local signage! Street parking rules can have specific exceptions or restrictions.

Location: Feilitzschstraße 8, 80802 München (near Münchner Freiheit U-Bahn). About a 5-min walk.

Hours and price: Open 24/7. Approx. €3.50/hour or €35/24 hours. Long-term rates (e.g., €255/month for reserved spots) are also available.

Heads up: Max vehicle height is 1.99 meters. Payment is often cash only here! Features 24/7 surveillance.

City Parkplatz Münchner Freiheit

Location: Marschallstraße 1, 80802 München. About an 8-10 min walk.

Hours and price: Open 24/7. Approx. €3.50/hour or €25/24 hours.

Good for larger vehicles: No height restriction mentioned for vehicles.

Payment: Accepts coins, notes (€5-€50), Girocard, Visa, Mastercard, and Maestro cards.

Note: Has around 58 parking spaces; on-site assistance may be available.


Bob's Tips for Parking 💡
Umweltzone (Low Emission Zone): Munich has an "Umweltzone." To drive in most of the city, including Münchner Freiheit, your car needs a green emissions sticker (Feinstaubplakette). This applies to foreign vehicles too! You can usually buy these online in advance or at vehicle inspection stations (like TÜV, DEKRA).

Street parking savvy: Can be free at certain times, but always be a "sign detective" to avoid fines.

Explore by public transport! Münchner Freiheit is a major U-Bahn (subway) and bus hub. Once your car is parked, it's super easy to get around Munich.

Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉



Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!



Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!

Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

We always send your check-in info by email—and often via SMS or WhatsApp too. Still nothing? Just reach out and we’ll sort it 👍

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.

No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
