Bob’s Østerbro Studio Apartments are your cosy corner to the east of Copenhagen where modern design meets a touch of green serenity. These aren’t your typical apartments; this former chocolate factory has been expertly transformed into stylish studios by the local design gurus at Third.space.

The contemporary interiors of Bob’s apartments don’t disappoint. As soon as you step inside, you’ll be greeted by the tranquillity of Østerbro’s nearby lakes and coastline, all woven into the building’s cool industrial past. Graphical window frames and dark accents in each of the rooms play off of the deep cocoa brown hues reminiscent of the factory’s chocolatey legacy.

Local design highlights are everywhere, too. Whether it’s the seductive Superpose pendant above the dining table or the classic Benny Frandsen Ball lamp from the 70s that add just the right amount of sophistication to each studio; Bob’s apartments combine both classic and modern design seamlessly. Plus, the chairs are sustainably made, the ceramic mugs are locally crafted, and the soft decorative textiles add a splash of comfort.

Noteworthy is the iconic hanging mobile from a 75-year-old Danish company, featured in international museum collections.

The building

This modern industrial property in Østerbro neighbourhood in Copenhagen was freshly renovated in 2021. These studios are located from the ground floor to the fifth floor and are accessible by lift. This is a contactless property, which means there’s no front desk. You can access both the building and your space with a convenient door code, and our super-responsive online support team is here for you day and night.
