Local design highlights
Bob W Kamppi is packed with local design details that make every stay feel a little more special. The standout artwork? That’s by Diana Cerrada of KOKO3 — a surreal, AI-crafted take on Helsinki nostalgia, created exclusively for Bob. Over in the shared spaces, you’ll spot sculptural furniture made from solid Finnish pine by design rebels Vaarnii, including pieces so bold they’re basically functional art.

And don’t miss the colourful ceramic mugs and vases by Tero Kuitunen — a Helsinki-based artist known for playful forms, bold colours, and work that always sparks joy (especially when filled with coffee). Every object tells a story, and every space is designed to feel like a local secret worth discovering.

Local amenities
Bob’s all for keeping things local - and keeping you moving. Every stay includes access to a nearby gym (just WhatsApp Bob for the details), a yoga mat for in-room stretches, and online access to Yogaia’s virtual studio. Feeling peckish? You can pre-purchase breakfast from Bob’s favourite neighbourhood cafés at a discounted rate. You’ll also find thoughtful in-room extras like an instant camera to capture your Kamppi memories, and colourful ceramic mugs handmade by local legend Tero Kuitunen.

Seriously sustainable
Every night you spend with Bob is fully tracked and carbon-offset, but that’s just the beginning. Bob W Kamppi was brought to life by Avarrus Architects, who led an ambitious renovation designed to preserve the building’s 1970s character while making it more sustainable than ever. Upgrades include energy-efficient systems, solar energy solutions, and low-emission materials — all working toward a LEED Gold certification.

Instead of building from scratch, we reused the original structure — cutting emissions by up to 70% according to the World Green Building Council. We also use 100% renewable electricity, energy-saving smart tech, and incorporate select secondhand furniture and reimagined design features throughout the space. The building
Bob W Kamppi brings new life to a repurposed 1970s office building. Inside you’ll find 99 design-led apartments with full kitchens, Finnish furniture, and layered textures. Guests have access to a coworking lounge, rooftop terrace, laundry, and a sauna with serious skyline views.

The neighbourhood
Kamppi is the beating heart of Helsinki’s music and cultural scene.
