The apartment features a 160 cm-wide bed. The 160 cm-wide sofa bed in the living room can sleep an additional two people. Please note that the apartment’s only bathroom is located off the upstairs bedroom. Each space is professionally cleaned to our 63-step ‘Ridiculously Clean’ standard before you arrive. It is possible to request early check-in and late check-out.

Limited Edition Loft - Design Highlights‍

Bob W’s design takes a nod from Amsterdam Noord’s historic docks and shipyards, but with a modern twist. Imagine the gritty, industrial past morphing into sleek and playful designs, all dressed up in colours borrowed from warm, old-school bricks. Kadri Tonto, Bob’s interior architect, mixes warm tones and natural materials to create a space that feels both playful and cosy. The custom made furnishings are a collaborative effort with HollowayLi, an internationally award-winning design agency, adding an extra layer of finesse to the space.‍

Local Design‍

Amsterdam’s own Kota Company has partnered with Bob W, merging their standout design cred with Bob’s obsession to local artistry and sustainability. Led by Creative Director András Kelemen, an emerging force in Amsterdam’s creative scene, Kota has made its mark through collaborations with design titans like Moooi and Snask. The collaborative effort with Bob W has produced unique, tailored pieces, such as the iconic Kota sofa and a 3D-printed side table constructed from PET bottles. This dynamic partnership fuses eye-catching aesthetics with functionality, all while keeping it eco-friendly.

Furniture & Surfaces

Kota sofa -  Designed by Amsterdam-based, up-and-coming designer András Kelemen, and the centerpiece of the limited edition lofts, the Kota sofa beds were designed to embody Bob W’s motto: Best of Both Worlds. A future design icon launched in this very apartment, this piece of furniture meets contemporary needs, of unrivaled comfort and sustainability. The sofa is effortlessly convertible, the covers are made from 100% recycled PET plastic bottles, and can be changed to extend the products lifespan to create a new look. But when it  reaches the end of its life cycle we recycle all of the foam.

Custom furniture – The bespoke furniture designed by Holloway Li for Bob W perfectly complements the space and reflects its unique style. Every piece is meticulously selected with sustainability in mind.

‍Brick walls - The distinctive hand-laid brick wall displayed on the facade is composed of repurposed brickstones, meticulously arranged by Amsterdam's skilled master craftsmen.

‍Local Decor

AI Wallpaper - Experience the convergence of past and future, as Dutch fine arts and the re-imagination of Vermeer's masterpiece - are all brought to life through AI-generated art. 

Rug - A homage to Dutch design and Gen X showcasing AI generated prints. Continuing the artistic journey of the wallpaper, with deconstructed imagery that extends from the wall to the floor, with cleverly hidden objects waiting to be discovered. Designed by Amsterdam-based designer András Kelemen.

3D printed side table - This piece is 3D-printed near Amsterdam in Haarlem, utilising recycled PET bottles, resulting in a seamless fusion of sustainable practices and contemporary design. Designed by Amsterdam-based designer András Kelemen.

Pink Jesus - Discover our sleek smart home button, a collaboration with Swedish design studio SNASK. Concealed within a sculpture, it's a nod to the iconic red button in Batman films. Press to illuminate, while SNASK's signature color adds charm to your space.

Hug vase - This local masterpiece embodies the warmth of an embrace, perhaps the joyful response to a tulip bouquet. The Hug Vase merges art and utility. Designed by András Kelemen with &Famke.

‍Pendant and Floor Lamp from local brand Fest add contemporary and elegant Dutch design touch to the rooms.

The building

This building is located in a modern, energy-efficient complex in Amsterdam Noord that was freshly built in 2023. These apartments are located in a cosy brick building, right next to a larger building that will feature a restaurant, wellness center, and co-working space in the summer of 2024. These apartments are located on the top two floors and are accessible by lift. This is a contactless property, which means there’s no front desk. You can access both the building and your space with a convenient door code, and our super-responsive online support team is here for you day and night. The property has limited paid parking available.
