Amsterdam, 01-02-2024 – Bob W Amsterdam Noord has been officially shortlisted as a finalist for the prestigious MIPIM 2024 Awards in the category of Best Hospitality, Tourism, and Leisure Project. This nomination highlights the project's exceptional design and commitment to sustainability, marking a significant achievement for the flagship building located in Amsterdam Noord.

The nomination is a tribute to the innovative spirit and hard work of the team responsible for bringing this project to life. Bob W Amsterdam Noord is an integral part of the Republica development, a notable example of an exceptionally sustainable “city-state” that harnesses its own energy through photovoltaic panels and thermal energy storage while fostering biodiversity with its green roofs.

The project features 126 locally designed apartments alongside limited edition design lofts, embodying a unique concept that merges the quality and services of a hotel with the authenticity and functionality of a home, also described as the ‘Best Of Both Worlds’. The interior design is inspired by the local neighborhood’s historical docks and shipyards, translating Amsterdam Noord’s industrial heritage into contemporary design and form. Highlights include custom furnishings by local design studio Kota Company, bespoke joinery co-designed with Holloway Li Ltd, and an extensive collection of over 200 artworks by Amsterdam artist Don Drawings.

The awards ceremony is set to take place on Thursday, 14 March, at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes, celebrating the finest in real estate development.
