A chocolate factory, founded by Anthon Berg in the late 19th century, once stood here. It was a place that made marzipan a local delicacy wrapped in pink packaging. Today, Berg’s legacy lives on in your apartment — through rich cocoa hues, sofas you’ll melt into, and maybe even your own tasty pink-wrapped sweet treat.

Østerbro is a neighbourhood with design in its bones. Of course it was Bob’s muse. The tranquillity of Østerbro’s nearby lakes and coastline, and the building’s cool industrial past, have been woven through the interior. Led by the local design gurus at Third Space.

Local design highlights are everywhere — from the seductive Superpose pendant above the dining table, to the classic Benny Frandsen Ball lamp from the 70s. Chairs are sustainably made, ceramic mugs are locally crafted, and a hanging mobile from a 75-year-old Danish company is so iconic that it featured in international museum collections.

By Metro 
The metro is a fantastic and efficient way to get from the airport to Østerbro, taking about 40 minutes.

From the airport station, take the Metro M2 line (direction Vanløse).

Get off at Kgs. Nytorv station.

At Kgs. Nytorv, change to the Metro M3 Cityringen line (the circle line, direction via Østerport).

Get off at the Vibenhus Runddel station. From there, it's just a short walk to Bob W Østerbro. Pop our address into your map app for the final steps.

By Taxi or Ride-hailing
For the most direct route, a taxi or ride-hailing service is a great option. The journey takes about 35 minutes, depending on traffic.

You can find official taxis at the ranks outside the airport terminals. You can also use ride-hailing apps like Uber or Bolt.

Finding the Entrance
Look for the building at number 31 on Teglværksgade street. The main entrance is clearly visible from the street. Your door code from the Guest Area will get you in.

On the day of check-in from 5:00 AM

On the day of check-out until 11:00 PM

Bob W Østerbro Copenhagen does not have its dedicated on-site parking, but you’ll find a convenient parking option nearby.


Street Parking in Østerbro
Finding a spot: You can usually find parking on the streets around our building. The closest streets to Bob W are often Rønnegade or Teglværksgade.

Copenhagen's parking rules:

Paid parking daily: As of April 1, 2025, you need to pay for parking every day of the week in Copenhagen's payment zones.

Our zone: Bob W Østerbro is located in the YELLOW Zone.

Free hour window: There's a small perk! The first hour of parking is free from Saturday at 5 PM (17:00) through to Monday at 8 AM (08:00). This also applies on public holidays.

You must always register your parking 🚨 Even if you park for less than an hour or during the "free hour window," you must register your parking session immediately via a parking app, at a parking meter, or by calling the parking hotline at +45 33 66 18 18. Failure to register (even for free parking) can result in a fine.

Payment: The easiest way to pay is by using parking apps like EasyPark or ParkOne.


Copenhagen's Parking Zones
Copenhagen is divided into four colour-coded payment zones, which affect the price:

Red zone: Most expensive, covering the very city centre.

Green zone: Second most expensive.

Blue zone: Third most expensive.

Yellow zone: Cheapest zone, which includes parts of Østerbro where Bob W is located.

Prices and specific time restrictions vary between these zones and can also change depending on the time of day. The closer to the city centre (Red Zone), the higher the cost.

Bob's Tips for Parking 💡
Register, register, register! This is key – always register your parking session via an app or meter, even for short stops or during free periods, to avoid fines.

Use parking apps: Download EasyPark or ParkOne before you arrive for the smoothest payment experience.

Yellow zone advantage: Being in the Yellow Zone means parking is generally more economical here than in more central parts of Copenhagen.

Check signage: While the zone provides general rules, always double-check the specific signs on the street where you park for any local variations or restrictions.

Explore by bike or bus! 🚲 Østerbro is a fantastic area for walking and cycling. Copenhagen’s public transport (buses, S-trains, Metro) is also excellent for getting around.

Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉



Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!



Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!



Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

We always send your check-in info by email—and often via SMS or WhatsApp too. Still nothing? Just reach out and we’ll sort it 👍

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
