The Ambassador has been around since 1957. Once a Stalinist school. Now a luxury apartment building. Re-built in 2021, Tallinn-based designer Gerdi Arst drew inspiration from the property’s history and dignified architecture — for an interior that does it justice.

Bob’s beds are made in Estonia by the ever-environmentally-conscious ParagonSleep, which cares about where their wood and textiles come from. Our sofa beds are by Ermatiko, an Estonian family-run business renowned for responsible sourcing.

Bob partnered with Avola Art, which turns construction waste into the handcrafted 3D art you’ll spot around your apartment.

Just landed in Tallinn and heading to Bob W Tallinn City Centre - Ambassador? Welcome! Tallinn Airport (TLL) is very close to the city centre, and you've got a couple of quick options to get to us.

By Bus 🚌
This is a super easy and budget-friendly option.
From the airport terminal, walk to the 'Lennujaam' bus stop.
Take bus number 15 (heading towards 'Estonia').
Get off at the 'Tornimäe' stop.

From there, it’s just a quick 4-minute walk to Bob W Ambassador. You can pop our address into your map app for the final walking directions.

By Taxi or Ride-hailing
For the most direct route, you can use one of Tallinn's popular ride-hailing apps. You can usually find the pickup points just outside the arrivals hall. Recommended apps include:

Finding the Entrance
Look for the building at number 8 on V. Reimani street. The main entrance is clearly visible from the street. Your door code from the Guest Area will get you in.

At Bob W Tallinn City Centre - Ambassador, the luggage lockers are located on the 1st floor and are available for you to use:

On the day of check-in from 5:00 AM
On the day of check-out until 11:00 PM

How to access it:
From the main entrance head straight through the lobby.

Find the door to 101-103 on the right.

The lockers will be inside, on the left!


Locking your locker:
Make sure the lock is in the upright (vertical) position.
If not, turn the lock in the direction the locker opens.
Enter your personal 4-digit code while the lock is upright.
Turn the lock back to horizontal (towards the locker) until it clicks.
Set all digits to “0” – locker is now secured.


Unlocking your locker:
Enter your valid code.

Turn the lock in the direction of the locker door.
Lock will return to upright (vertical) position.
That’s it – locker is open and code is scrambled!

Step 1: Complete Your Online Check-In
Head to our secure check-in portal here: https://reception.bobw.co/check-in

You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.

Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”
“Reservation number”
Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉

Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!

Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!

Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

We always send your check-in info by email—and often via SMS or WhatsApp too. Still nothing? Just reach out and we’ll sort it 👍

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
