The Apartment

This newly renovated, 1-bedroom apartment has everything you need to live, work and play. Get the practical things like a fully equipped private kitchen, access to shared laundry, fast WiFi, 24/7 support, and regular professional cleaning, and fun stuff like a retro video game console and smart TV. Stay in comfort for as long as you’d like – days, weeks or months. 

The bedroom features a queen-size bed. The loveseat bed in the living room can sleep an additional person. Each apartment is professionally cleaned to our 63-step ‘Ridiculously Clean’ standard before you arrive. It is possible to request early check-in and late check-out. Pets are not allowed at this property.

The 4th-floor windows offer awesome city views of the neighbouring plaza and Fuencarral street. Because Fuencarral is a bustling shopping and pedestrian street, you may hear the sounds of the city from outside, particularly on the weekends. If you’re a light sleeper, Bob recommends using earplugs or booking one of our “quiet” apartments facing away from the street in the same building.

Step inside and feel the freedom of Madrid’s La Movida Madrileña social movement. After the end of the oppressive Franco dictatorship in 1975, a new era of rebellious music, film, fashion and art erupted in the surrounding Malasaña neighbourhood. Bob’s very own Senior Interior Architect Camilo Torres – who has called many places in the world home, including Chueca – has hand chosen colours, textures, art, custom furniture and local elements to immerse you in this part of the area’s history. ‍

Bob is all for staying active, so this apartment includes yoga mats, online access to Yogaia yoga studio, and access to a nearby local gym. Bob is also all for a tasty brekkie; you have the option to pre-purchase breakfast at Bob’s fav neighbourhood cafes with an exclusive discount.

The Building

This property in Chueca, just off Gran Via, was freshly renovated in 2021. All apartments are located on the fourth floor and are accessible by elevator. This is a contactless property, which means there’s no front desk. You can access both the building and your apartment with a convenient door code, and our super-responsive online support team is here for you day and night.  

The Neighbourhood

Chueca is one of Madrid’s most trendy areas, filled with small shops, restaurants, cafes, and everyday amenities in addition to a vibrant nightlife. Located in the heart of the city in the larger Malasaña neighbourhood, Chueca is extremely central, home to one of Europe’s biggest pride parades, and an overall hip place to be year-round. Bob W Chueca is walking distance to Madrid’s biggest attractions: less than 5 minutes from Gran Via, only 8 minutes from Puerta del Sol, and 15 minutes from Plaza Mayor.
