This property in Kensington Olympia was built in the 1870s and renovated in 2024. All apartments are located on floors 0-3.

Most pet stays require a one-time fee when booking. There's no charge for service animals.

We allow one large pet (up to 45kg) or two small pets (up to 23kg each) per apartment.

By Train & Tram 🚆
This is an easy and efficient way to get from the airport to the city.

Train to the City: From the airport's train station, take either the I train or the P train. Both will take you directly to Helsinki Central Railway Station (Helsingin päärautatieasema).

From the Central Station to Bob W: You have two options for the final part of your journey:

By Tram: From one of the stops near the Central Railway Station, take tram number 4 or 5 towards Katajanokka. Check your map app for the closest stop to Bob W.

On Foot: If you're travelling light, it's about a 28-minute walk.

Finding the Entrance
Look for the building at number 4 on Kruunuvuorenkatu street. The main entrance is clearly visible from the street. Your door code from the Guest Area will get you in.

On the day of check-in from 5:00 AM

On the day of check-out until 11:00 PM

Street Parking (Katajanokka area):

You'll find plenty of street-side spots around Katajanokka, typically around €4/hour.

Laukkasaarenkatu (street nearby): Also €4/hour, but with a max 2-hour limit between 9 AM and 9 PM. It's FREE with no time limit from 9 PM to 9 AM overnight!

Grand Marina Parking (Garage & Outdoor):

Located at Ankkurikatu 1, just a 200m stroll from us.

Offers 22 garage and 72 outdoor spots based on availability (no advance reservations).

Step 1: Complete Your Online Check-In

You can do this any time before arriving, no need to wait for check-in day. This helps us get everything ready for your stay.



Find your booking number
You’ll need this to check in online. It’s usually in your confirmation email from wherever you booked (Airbnb, Booking.com, etc.). Look for terms like:

“Booking/confirmation number”

“Booking ID”

“Reservation number”

Can’t find it? Check your spam folder—emails love to hide there sometimes 😉



Get your door code
Once your check-in is complete, your unique door code will pop up on the evening before check-in day in the Guest Area under "Open Doors". That’s how you’ll access your apartment—no keys needed!



Do I need to add my credit card to the check-in form?
Only if you want to book extras, like breakfast, or if you'll be staying in one of the city tax locations seen here.

If your stay was fully paid via your company or booking site, you can skip this step—just leave the credit card fields empty and close the tab. Easy!



Didn’t get a confirmation email?
Double-check that your email and phone number are correct.

We always send your check-in info by email—and often via SMS or WhatsApp too. Still nothing? Just reach out and we’ll sort it 👍

Please read Bob's house rules carefully. If you break them, you will be charged a fine and/or your booking will be terminated – and no one wants that!
Respect your neighbours. You're sharing the building with other guests and residents. Be aware of your noise levels and keep things tidy. Quiet hours are 10 pm - 8 am daily.

No parties or any events that might disturb other guests. We know, parties are fun, but people need their rest too.

No pets, unless otherwise confirmed in advance by Bob W in writing. Just reach out with questions!

Shoes off inside. Not only does this reduce noise for your neighbours, but it also keeps the apartment clean and in good shape.
‍
No smoking, even on balconies. Please use marked outdoor smoking areas.
‍
No drugs or use of any illegal substances. If we find a reason to believe this is happening during or after your stay, you will be reported to the local authorities and that’d be a major bummer.

No rubbish in the hallways. Please check your apartment for instructions on how to deal with rubbish and recycling.
‍
Respect our cleaners. Although each apartment is thoroughly cleaned after check-out, please pick up after yourself and use common sense when leaving. If you leave a big mess that takes extra time to clean up, you’ll be charged.

Keep to your check-in and check-out times. Your last-minute schedule changes impact our cleaners and other guests.

Report any possible damage you see in the apartment during your stay so Bob can fix it.

You are always fully responsible to pay for damages caused by you, your guests or pets. Any violations of the law or fraudulent activities will result in immediate termination of your booking and will be reported to the local police for further investigation. It’s Bob’s responsibility to make sure all guests are safe and have a good time! Thanks for your understanding and for helping us out with this.
