Helsinki just got a new design icon above the rooftops. At the very top of Bob W Helsinki Kamppi, we’ve teamed up with Iittala — Finland’s most legendary design brand — to create the Sauna Lounge by Iittala & Bob W.

Think panoramic views over Helsinki, timeless Iittala classics alongside their newest range, and the warmth of a true Finnish sauna. Not to mention a massive rooftop terrace and a commanding original copper fireplace. It’s a lounge where 1970s architecture meets over 140 years of glass and design heritage. Staying with us? You’ll get access to this spa-like oasis and can book your own sauna shifts during your stay. Not staying? No problem. Locals and companies can book the lounge for private events — so the view (and the steam) is all yours.

And yes, this all coincides with the official opening of Bob W Helsinki Kamppi in early September: 99 design-led studios and one-bedroom apartments designed with our friends at KOKO3, combining raw 70s character with contemporary Finnish flair.
