Bob’s apartments have everything you need to stop by or stick around for longer. You can stay anywhere from one night to many months at a time. Daily, weekly and monthly rates automatically applied when you book direct on our website.

How to book business stays via the Bob W website

Where can we store our luggage before check-in or after check-out

As we do not have our own luggage storage possibilities in the buildings, we have a few local luggage storage options to guide you to, just ask.

How can we access the apartment

We have keyless access and self check-in available 24/7, 365 days of the year. To access the apartment please fill in our virtual check-in form that gets sent to you automatically, well before your arrival. This ensures your silky smooth entry. After filling the information we will send the keyless entry access details one day before your arrival. Self check-in is available any time after check-in time from 3PM.

Where can I find the online check-in form

Online check-in form will be sent to your email. Make sure you have provided us with your email address.

I have not received any confirmation or information from you - what do I do

Please double check that you have provided us with your correct email address and telephone number. Our check-in information is always sent via email as well as your other preferred channels (like SMS). If you are not receiving anything - please reach out to Bob.

Can I check-in earlier and check-out later

We love to make special requests happen but we cannot always guarantee a late check-out/early check-in as it depends on other guests and cleaner schedules. Check-in time starts from 3PM and check-out time is 11AM.

Is smoking allowed

Smoking is forbidden in any apartment. Please exit the building or use your terrace (if there is one). Do not throw cigarettes on the ground.

Can I add a baby crib to my apartment

Yes - just note it down when booking.

Can I bring my pet

Unfortunately, while we love our furry friends as much as you do, we cannot welcome them in our apartments. Each apartment building has its own rules and as a general rule of thumb we don't allow pets.

Do you have fully equipped kitchen

Yes! Every Bob W apartment has fully equipped kitchens (although only selected apartments have ovens). Dishwasher included. There’s all you need for comfortable living and a perfect stay.

Is there a fitness facility

Damn right there is! We offer complimentary local gym access with every apartment. We also have 2x yoga mats in every apartment and a complimentary access to online studio Yogaia. See city-specific FAQs for more details or reach out to Bob.

Can I take the 100% recycled tote-bag with me

Feel free to take it with you around the neighbourhood, leave it in your apartment or keep for your next adventures. As long as you don’t throw it away :)


How can I reach the apartment from the Airport

Take the train (P or I) directly from the Airport station to the Central Railway station. The apartments are a 5-minute walk from there. See the train schedules here.

Alternatively, you can take a taxi or use the Uber app for a ride.

How can I reach the apartment from the harbour?

There are two main harbours in Helsinki: West Harbour and South Harbour. You can arrive from both by tram, taxi or Uber.
From West Harbour: Take the tram nr. 7 to the stop ‘Mikonkatu’ and walk 4 minutes to Bob W, or take tram nr. 9 to the stop ‘Kaisaniemenkatu’

From South Harbour: Take the tram nr. 5 directly from the harbour to the stop ‘Aleksanterinkatu’ and walk 5 minutes. See the schedules here.

Alternatively, it’s about a 20-minute walk from the harbour to the building.

Where can I park my car

There is paid underground parking close by called “Aimo Park | Kauppakeskus Kluuvi” or “Kluuvi Europark”.

How do I use the luggage room? Is it safe?

Your access code will be activated for the main door and luggage room from 7 AM on your check-in day and will expire at 11 PM on your check- out day. The luggage room is camera monitored 24/7.

Do you have breakfast included

Breakfast isn’t included by default, but we do offer Breakfast Passes for 9€ per person which you can purchase either when you book or in the online check-in form. Bob has partnered up with three local cafes (Fazer Cafe Kaisaniemi / Espresso House Mikonkatu / Kanniston Leipomo Yliopistonkatu) which are a short walk from the building and offer special breakfast packages. See your online booking information for more details.

Do you have complimentary Wifi

Of course! The network name is your Bob W apartment number, and you’ll find the password in your online booking information and on the apartment wall near the postcards and tote bag.

How can I recycle

We love a green mind! The apartment kitchens have recycling bins, and our cleaners will empty these during weekly cleanings. However, if you have a lot of recycling or would like to take it out yourself, there are big bins for recycled waste on the “L” floor of the building, which you can reach by lift.

Can I have an extra bed in my apartment?

We have some apartments with an armchair that opens up into an extra single bed and others with a sofa that opens to become a double bed. This is written in the apartment descriptions while booking and in your booking confirmation. Remember to tell us the correct number of guests so we can prepare the extra beds for you!

Do you have twin beds?

We do not have apartments with twin beds, but most of our apartments can sleep people in two separate beds using the main bed and the armchair/sofa bed.

Do you have a sauna? How does it work?

Some of the apartments have private saunas. You will see if the apartment has one in the online descriptions while booking and also in your booking information. There are instructions in the sauna on how to operate it.

Is there a washing machine and how does it work?

Yes, there is a washing machine in the bathroom.

  • Load your clothes in the machine and close it
  • You can find the washing liquid from the cupboard under the sink.
  • Add the liquid to the machine as advised on the package (usually a 1-2 corks)
  • Open the water flow for the machine (look at the placed stickers where it points out where to turn it)
  • Choose the program and press start
  • After when you are done, turn off the water flow

Is there a dish washer and how does it work?

Yes, there is a dish washer in the kitchen.

  • Load the dishes to the washer
  • You can find the dish washer capsules in the cupboard above the sink
  • Put one capsule in the designated capsule spot and close it. (On the machine door, on the inside side of the machine) Turn on the water flow for the machine. The turning button is marked with a sticker and locates at the sink
  • Choose the washing program which you wish to use (on top of the machine door)
  • Press ‘'START'' button and close the door
  • Once the machine is done, it will open switch itself off automatically and open the door
  • Turn off the water flow

How do I access the complimentary gym?

Our gym partner is Fitness24Seven. The closest one is located at Pitkänsillanranta 3, a 7-minute walk, but you can also use any other location. You will find the gym passes in the apartment on the wall with the postcards and tote bag. This short video explains how to access the gym. If you need help, reach out directly!

How do I use the TV and Netflix?

Easy! Once you turn on the TV, the general menu will give you the option to access Netflix with your login details. If you prefer to watch local TV channels, simply change the source on the TV.

Am I supposed to heat up the coffee pot on the stove?

No. It is a metal coloured french press and should not be placed on the stove. Boil up some water with the electric kettle and pour it into the french press over some coffee and then place it on a cork pot mat.

Can I buy the water bottles or locally handmade coffee cups in the apartment?

The ones in the apartment are not for sale. You can, however, buy them directly from the artist and supplier: and Dopp er.

How can I regulate the temperature in the room?

First, make sure all the windows are closed. Running the AC with open windows is bad for the environment and will break the machine. To adjust the temperature, gently press the “plus” and “minus” buttons on the control panel. To adjust fan speed gently press the “fan” button and choose a speed: A – for automatic (and Bob’s fave), which maintains your chosen temperature and is the most eco-friendly. Or a number from 0 (Fan off) to 3 (Fastest speed).


How do I access the complimentary gym

You can access MyFitness Balti Jaama Turg in our Telliskivi neighbourhood, in the basement of the “Balti Jaam” market building.

You can google “MyFitness Balti Jaama Turg” to find it. Once you arrive, tell the gym's front desk that you are friends with Bob W and show your booking confirmation email as proof.

Do I need to add my credit card to your check-in form

Depends on your booking. If the accommodation is all charged and paid for by your company or an online travel agent you have booked through then there is no need to add your credit card details for the booking. Our online check-in form asks these details in case you decide to add additional services (breakfast or parking) to your booking. Please feel free to leave these fields empty and exit the browser.

How can we reach the apartment from Tallinn Airport, Ferry Terminal or Bus Station

All of them are located just a few km from the city centre. 

Tallinn Airport - Taxi, Uber, Bolt (10min); Tram nr 4 (Airport to Hobujaama) + tram nr 1 or 2 from Hobujaama to Telliskivi stop (30 min). 
Ferry Terminal - Taxi, Uber, Bolt (10min); Tram nr 2 or 4 from Linnahalli to Telliskivi stop (15min).
Bus Station - Taxi, Uber, Bolt (10min); Tram nr 2 from Bussijaam to Telliskivi stop (25min).

What’s the cancellation policy

Plans change—we get it. If you’ve booked directly on with the option ‘Pay Later’ you can cancel your reservation up to 24hrs before the 3PM check-in time on your arrival day. If you cancel the stay out of this free cancellation window, the whole amount of your stay will be charged from your credit card. 
If you have booked your stay with the ‘Pay Now’ option you can not cancel the stay for free or change your stay dates. The whole amount of your stay will be charged from your credit card one hour after the booking has been created.
If you’ve reserved through a different booking site, please refer to the cancellation policy on those sites. All cancellation requests must go through the original booking channel.

Where can we park the car

There are a few public parking spots on Heina and Telliskivi streets, but there is no guarantee you will always find a free one. The option we would suggest is our indoor parking spots under our building. We charge a €10 parking fee per day and you can take the lift directly to your suite. Parking will be charged from your credit card.

I cannot access my apartment, my code is not working - what do I do

This rarely happens but if it does - best thing is to call us. We’ll guide you and make sure you get in.

Do you have complimentary Wifi

Of course! The network name is your Bob W apartment number and you’ll find the password in your access message.

Do you have breakfast included

Not included, but we do offer a breakfast package! We do not have breakfast on property but Bob has partnered up with several cafes and restaurants in Telliskivi who offer awesome breakfast. This can be purchased for 8€ per person - you can choose between 2 different breakfast spots we handpicked just for you.

How can I recycle

We love a green mind! Recycled waste can be thrown in the bins located in the wooden enclosure on the right side of the building. You can access it with your apartment access code. You may also take empty bottles to the recycling point which is in the Rimi shop near our house in exchange for cold hard cash (3 min walk).

Can I have an extra bed in my apartment

Yes! We have some apartments with a loveseat that opens up to an extra single bed and some apartments with a sofa which open to become a double bed. Additional charges may apply.

Do you have twin beds

We do have a couple of apartments with premium bunk beds that are great for twin bed setup. All of our other apartments have double or queen beds big enough for 2 persons. Some of these apartments also have a twin bed possibility using the extra bed as a second bed (loveseat and sofa).

Do you have a sauna in the house

We do not have saunas in house but it can be used in MyFitness Balti Jaam which you can go to complimentary when staying with Bob.

Can we get more gym passes

Your brand wall in the apartment has all the information! ;) You are entitled to use MyFitness Balti Jaam during your stay.

How do I use the TV and Netflix

TV switches on when pressing both left and right on/off buttons on the Telia TV (smaller) remote. For Netflix you can use the bigger remote to navigate to the on-screen Netflix button. It is necessary to use your own account for Netflix. And don’t forget to log out of your account before you leave!

How do I switch off the TV

To turn off the TV please use both left and right on/off buttons on Telia TV (smaller) remote. This will switch off not only the TV but also the digi-box.

How do you get the stove to work

It might be the case that it’s locked - hold down the lock sign for a few seconds and it will turn on.

Am I supposed to heat up the coffee pot on the stove

No. It is a (metal colour) french press and should not be placed on the stove. Boil up some water with the kettle and pour it into the french press over some coffee and then place it on a cork pot mat.

Can I buy the water bottles or locally hand-made coffee cups in the apartment

The ones in the apartment are not for sale :/ You can however buy them directly from the artist and supplier: Raili Keiv and Dopper.

Where’s the nearest supermarket

About 3 min walk from the house towards Telliskivi tram station, just turn left from the house and walk straight until you come across a red supermarket called Rimi.

Any recommendations for activities and restaurants in Telliskivi area

Plenty of ideas here - Telliskivi is full of awesome places and that’s what we are all about - making sure you experience all the fun in the coolest neighbourhood in town! How can I regulate the temperature in the room

Please use the controller on the wall to adjust the under floor heating - 5 is the highest and 1 is the lowest. Voilà ;)


Can I buy the water bottles or local coffee cups in the apartment

The ones in the apartment are not for sale. You can, however, buy the cups from Cristina Oria and water bottles from Dopper.

How can I regulate the temperature in my apartment

The air conditioner in your apartment both heats and cools the air, depending on the season and centralised settings. You can adjust the temperature and fan speed in your apartment though with these instructions: 

1. Make sure all windows are closed before turning on the air conditioner.

2. Press the on/off button in the upper right corner. A red light next to the button shows when on.

3. Set the temperature: Gently press the arrow buttons above and below the thermometer symbol. Bob recommends 21 ℃ or higher.

4. Set the fan speed: Gently press the “fan” button and choose L (low), H (high) or HH (super high).

Can I have an extra bed in my apartment

An extra single bed can be added to our Accessible Deluxe Chueca Design Studio upon request, but not to other apartments.

Can I park my car nearby

Yes, Garaje AML is a one-minute walk away and costs 20 euros per day. It’s a secure, indoor, monitored parking garage.

Do you have twin beds

All of our apartments come with a double or queen-size bed and not separate twin beds. However, if you’re looking for an apartment with separate beds, one of our 1-Bedroom Chueca Design Suites has a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a 140 cm sofa bed in the living room. Reach out to our guest support team to ask about booking this particular suite. 

Where’s the nearest supermarket

There is a small supermarket, Rapid Supermercados, located just a 2-minute walk away. It is open daily from 8.00–23.00. 

How do I use the shared washing machines

There is a shared washeteria near the shared kitchen where you can wash your clothes. 

Washing machine instructions

  1. Press the “on/off” button to turn on the machine. 
  2. Open the detergent/softener drawer on the left side.
  3. Pour in detergent (liquid only) and softener (if desired) into the matching compartments. There are complimentary detergent and softener on the shelves in this room.
  4. Add clothes and spin the control wheel to select a washing programme. Bob recommends “Eco 40-60” or “Quick Wash 15”. 
  5. Close the machine door and hold the “play/pause” button to start.

Please note: Collect your clothes as soon as the washing machine programme ends so others can use the machine. If someone has not collected their washed clothes, feel free to gently place the clothes on top of the washing machine. 

Drying instructions

  1. Do not use the drying function on the washing machines. It occupies the machine for a long time and is worse for the environment than air drying. 
  2. Please take a folding air drying rack (available in this room) to your apartment and hang your clothes to dry there. Please return the rack when finished so others can use it.

How can I reach the apartment from the airport

Metro: Buy a metro ticket to the ‘Tribunal’ station. From the airport, you’ll need to first take the pink line (line 8) to the ‘Nuevos Ministerios’ station, where you’ll get out and change to the dark blue line (line 10). Once on the dark blue line, you’ll exit at ‘Tribunal’ station, then walk 3 minutes to Bob W.

Taxi: There’s a fixed rate of 30 euros to go from the airport to the city centre. Tell the taxi driver to take you to the address Calle Fuencarral 45.

Ride-hailing apps: Local people use Uber and Cabify instead of traditional taxis as they’re cheaper and easier to move around the city with. Enter your destination address as Calle Fuencarral 45.

How do I use the smart TV

Turn on the TV and select the app you want to watch using your remote control. You will see that there are different buttons: Netflix, YouTube or Prime Video.

You can also use our Google Chromecast device to watch media from your device on the TV. Chromecast is already installed on the TV, just follow these instructions if you need help. 

Is breakfast included

You have the option to add Breakfast Passes at our partner cafe Harina to your booking for 10 euros per guest per day. The cafe is located just 1 minute away from Bob W. Breakfast Passes can be added to your booking in the online Guest Area. By pre-purchasing a Breakfast Pass, you don’t need to pay for your meal at the cafe.

How can I recycle

We have two different bins in every apartment in a kitchen cabinet along with a recycling guide sticker. Here’s a quick overview:

Pink bag – Bio

What belongs: Leftover food, fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, eggshells, shellfish, nuts, tea, coffee, used napkins, kitchen paper, corks, matches, flowers and plants.

What doesn’t belong: Diapers, feminine hygiene products, wet wipes, cigarette butts, chemicals, pet waste, cat litter, hair and other non-biodegradable items.

Yellow bag – General waste 

What belongs: Everything that doesn't go in bio.
